You probably won’t realize the moment your life starts to change. It won’t come with a flash of lightning or a perfectly timed sign that says, “This is it.” Most of the time, it’s quieter than that. It’s one choice. One instinct you follow. One thing you say yes to instead of brushing it off.
That’s the kind of week this is. A slow shift. A string of small, honest moments that—when you look back—will be the beginning of something new.
This week’s cards aren’t here to give you an answer or map out the whole path. They’re here to nudge you. To ask better questions. → Pegasus
Pegasus appears when you’re about to experience something that will change your life. But here’s the thing, when us “spiritual teachers” say things like this, we don’t mean things will suddenly be different or at least I don’t. A single choice, a single moment in time can change the course of your life and you may never be aware of what that moment actually is. It could be the decision to turn left instead of right, to go to one store versus another or even just to call in sick to work. Whatever the cause, know that a single moment is only the first step in a long journey. No change happens overnight. No habit is dropped instantly. No relationship is ever truly love at first sight. And no overnight success is actually overnight. Monumental change takes whatever time it needs. As this transition takes place, it's important for you to keep saying yes; keep showing up for the things that light you up. That’s how you stay the course. Explore and experiment and give yourself permission to do the things that bring you joy. Keep doing that and one day, it really will feel like you’ve changed overnight.

→ Ribbons
You already know what you need to do, my darling and you’ve known it for a while now. The problem isn’t that you aren’t clear. No, the issue is that it’s going to require more of you than you thought or wish to give. Lack of clarity is rarely the problem. We all know what it is we want to do and are excited and joyful at the idea of what’s possible. But then reality sets in or someone says something that introduces doubt. Suddenly you’re faced with all of the things that can go wrong and then the cost of what you want doesn’t seem like something you’re willing to pay. The advice is to stop telling yourself you can’t do something when that isn’t true. You can do whatever you want, it's just going to take a lot of effort. But name that effort clearly. Be honest about what’s holding you back so that you can decide whether or not it's enough to truly keep you from achieving your desires.

→ Wildcat
Today’s card is a warning; something isn’t what it appears to be. Someone is lying to you, or something is hidden from your view that could cause harm once revealed. You are being asked to keep your eyes and ears and spirit open. Pay attention to what’s around you. Pay attention when something feels off and don’t allow yourself to dismiss it. You may not have all of the facts but you don’t need them to root out what’s out of alignment. If someone or something specific comes to mind while reading today’s entry, take a few moments to think about what this could mean. Have you already had doubts about this person or thing? Are you already feeling uneasy about something they’ve done or said? Are there already red flags? It didn’t pop into your mind for nothing; it's your intuition saying “yes, I’ve been trying to warn you.” Pay attention. You’ll be glad you did.

→ Stone Circle
Notice the small magic today. Do the little work. You might think of elaborate rituals or spells when the word ‘magic” comes to mind but that’s just a small piece of the puzzle. Just like an iceberg whose vast majority lies below the surface. Your magic doesn’t build during some grand ceremony, it unfurls and grows in the small moments happening everyday. It happens when you choose to smile even though you’re having a bad day. It happens when you notice the delicate curve of a leaf or hear a word on the wind. It happens when you just happen to see your grandmother’s favorite flower the day after she passes and you get the sense she’s letting you know she’s ok. It's moments like these when you learn to trust in your innate power. So that when you do a ritual or spell or ceremony, you’re already fully charged and let your magic fully unfold.

→Primal
This card is about authenticity. About connecting to the deepest part of who you are that is pure and safe from the layers of living life. This part doesn’t need to emulate others to feel worthy nor does this part need to pretend to be something that it isn’t. This part doesn’t need external validation and it already knows who you are and what you came here to do and become. But with time, this part becomes covered up by the snide comments, fears and anxieties, criticisms, traumas and all other human expressions that can make you feel less than. Other parts learn to protect the purest, most primal part of you by hiding it from harm and before you know it, you’ve lost all sense of the intelligence deep within your being. But you can learn to access it again. It may be in hiding but it never truly goes away. It whispers to you urging you to go this way and that, to say yes or no and it guides you to things you love so that you can discover what’s meant for you. It will be the softest sound at first but as you learn to listen, this primal part will get stronger and louder until you no longer have to search for it; it will be your constant companion.

→ Earth Worship
This card is meant to have two meanings. The first, most obvious and literal is to worship the earth. We like to tell ourselves colonization is over. That we don’t do things like that anymore but we colonize the planet everyday. We encroach on entire civilizations of plants and animals, deeming our human comforts more important. We strip the earth of everything it has in the pursuit of money, something we created and gave value to. But you can be someone who chooses to worship this earth rather than destroy it. Think of what your actions mean. Think of your impact on this planet and how you can reduce that footprint. The second meaning of this card is about worshiping yourself. It's about knowing that you too are sacred and are deserving of respect and sovereignty. We must learn to honor our sacredness as much as the earth.

→ Bee
Imagine how scary the world must seem to a tiny bee. Or perhaps scary isn’t the word. Maybe the world is big but clearly it isn’t afraid to brave it, or if it is, it doesn’t let its fear stop it. There’s much to learn from this behavior. The bee is willing to face the harsh winds, strong rain, and endless threats in service of its purpose. What are you willing to brave in service of yours? What are you willing to do to bring your dreams to life? Finding your purpose never meant the road would be easy. It means the road will be right and the hardship will be worthwhile but not easy. It's time to reorganize your thoughts around what it means to find your soul’s mission. It means fighting for what’s meant for you and at times, that’s going to mean having to overcome a lot of challenges. It will definitely mean getting out of your comfort zone and it will certainly mean you have to change in some way or another. So I’ll ask again what are you willing to do to bring your dreams to life? If you aren’t willing to do anything or very little, then don’t be surprised if you never find your purpose.
